Laburnum Cottage The rear of the house dates
from 1530, complete with inglenook fireplace. The front of the house was extended in the
early 1800's, and the satellite dish was added in the 1990's.
Once upon a time, spring water was retrieved directly from beneath the house.
In the 1960's, the cottages opposite the house were demolished, but the rafters still
exist, as they were used to refurbish the roof. |
