The Ruishton Gallery - Thornfalcon Station 1865

There were a lot of bridges along this part of the railway, some are still used today.

These bridges are at Ash Farm, position 19/I on the aerial photo.

During WW2 defences were built on the edge of the bridge to stop tanks, unfortunately, to the horror of the bridge inspector, one of the massive concrete structures was built on the bridge. It was quickly torn down and rebuilt further away from the bridge.
