Last May the Village Hall committee applied to the MILLENNIUM FESTIVAL AWARDS FOR ALL for a grant towards replacing the Village Hall floor with a hard wood. We are very pleased yo be able to announce that we have been awarded a grant of £5,000 towards the cost of the floor. The full cost will be over £7,000 and the extra will be found from Village Hall funds. The work will be carried out by James Bell of Wiveliscombe during the last three weeks of December 1999. |
